About Tony And Esther

When I introduce people to Tony And Esther Restaurant, I usually start by saying it’s one of those places that instantly feels familiar, even if it’s your first visit. Sitting right on Levinski Street in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tony And Esther has a relaxed restaurant vibe that fits perfectly with the energy of the neighborhood, casual yet full of personality. The space invites you to slow down, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite in the middle of the day or settling in for a longer evening with friends. Outdoor seating is a big plus here, especially when the street comes alive, but it’s just as comfortable to dine in or pop by for takeaway when time is tight. What really stands out is how easy it is to find something that matches your mood. Some days call for coffee and a small plate, while others lean more toward cocktails, wine, or a cold beer during happy hour. The menu feels flexible and inclusive, with vegetarian and vegan options that don’t feel like afterthoughts, alongside late-night food that actually satisfies. I also like how the offerings flow naturally from afternoon to night, moving from quick bites to spirits and cocktails without any fuss. There’s alcohol if you want it, but there’s no pressure, which makes it a good spot for mixed groups with different tastes. Tony And Esther manages to balance being lively without being overwhelming, and social without feeling crowded. It’s the kind of restaurant you can recommend confidently because it works for so many situations, from casual meetups to spontaneous evenings that stretch later than planned, all while keeping things approachable, easygoing, and very Tel Aviv in spirit.

A live atmosphere on Friday mornings and also on weekday evenings. Come early if you want to avoid the line. Before 9:00 on Friday only the kiosk is open; serving good coffee and sandwiches or pastries

My favorite coffee place in Israel, best coffee and amazing food and desserts. Cool vibes just to sit relax and talk to your friends. Would 100% say if you’re a coffee person go there!

The food and service were amazing. You can see that they make a lot of ingredients from scratch. Lots of vegetarian options and pretty much any coffee type you would want. It’s located pretty central in Florentin, so one thing to be aware is that every 10 minutes we sat there someone came to ask for money.

Absolutely delicious breakfast! There are plenty of options to choose from. The coffee was very good and the staff is very fast and attentive. I had a black lentil salad and it was amazing - try it if you are into delicious and spicy food.

Friday noon, what a great place to eat. Our first time and not last...ordered tzaziki, gauda sausage and pantzanela salad. Got eclair for desert. The atmosphere is amazing. Service was good and friendly.

Great food, I took the kaved katzutz which was given with a piece of halah, and the pasta pomodoro, with tomato sauce, garlic, riccotta, spinach and olive oil which was delicious! I tasted the schnitzel from my friend's which was also great, a bit noisy as it was friday

A gem in the middle of Lewinski market. It's no secret that the food here is good - the 20+ minute wait for a Friday lunch table shows that. Everything is fresh and tasty, a real display of the diversity of Israeli cuisine. The Lima bean paste is a great starter. And their crack pie is awesome.

A really cool and authentic coffee and restaurant in the middle of Tel-Aviv. Simple Israeli dishes with fresh ingredients and delicious food. The place located in Levinsky market, giving you all the local vibe. The stuff are very friendly and welcoming. Their coffee is great. It's a great place to have breakfast and brunch. Enjoy :)
